Yblin

Yblin Román Escobar (Kolla descent) is a facilitator for the Securing Indigenous Peoples’ Rights in the Green Economy (SIRGE) Coalition for low-carbon economy transition topics in Europe. She was born in Bolivia. Yblin's background is in environmental sciences and she holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology. She has worked on sustainability projects and is currently a Social Life Cycle Impact Assessment Specialist at Gent University in Belgium. Yblin is also a guest lecturer at the Sustainable Development Post-Graduate Programme at VIVES University College. Over the last few years, she has collaborated with various European civil society organizations, such as the European Environmental Bureau, SDG Watch Europe, and CONCORD, to advocate for a just and equitable green transition within planetary boundaries.
