The Massachusetts Native Peoples Working Group will meet again on June 8, 2019, to continue strategizing around protecting and recognizing the rights of Native Peoples in Massachusetts. A list of topics to be discussed include:
·Update and strategize on the Native mascot bill and other related bills pending before the legislature;
·Recognition of native nations by the Commonwealth;
·Engagement with the Commonwealth to address the human rights of native peoples in Massachusetts.
All are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
