IRAQ: Remains of 25,000 Kurds reported found in mass graves in southern Iraq

According to the Kurdish satellite television station KurdSat TV, approximately 25,000 Kurdish bodies have been found in mass graves in the Nugra Salman desert in Southern Iraq. The dead are believed to have been victims of the Anfal genocide, which took place in 1988.
