The Namuy Wam (Communications Spiral) is an integral part of the Misak Peoples’ life plan, which aims to preserve their territory as well as their social and political autonomy. Their project focuses on the defense of life, territory, and the environment as it contributes to the strengthening of the Misak life plan, which strives for the cultural permanence of this community. As part of the project, activities will be carried out to strengthen cultural identities through the radio programs “El Gran Fogón” and “El Nunachak.” These efforts will concentrate on issues related to Indigenous women, highlighting their participation in the collective struggle with a special focus on community and political advocacy.
