Indigenous Community Radio Nimlajacoc 92.1 FM (Maya)

This project seeks to strengthen the new leadership of women and young people through the radio, encouraging their active participation at all levels to ensure the sustainability of the station and its projection in the communities. In addition, it aims to contribute to the strengthening of cultural identity by disseminating the rights, history, language, art, culture, and traditions of Indigenous Peoples. It will also promote spaces for dialogue and exchange of knowledge between communities, generations, genres, and Peoples through social communication.

The project aims to improve the living conditions of the communities of the Nimlajacoc region and of the Maya people in general. Through the free expression of Mayan thought, cosmovision, culture, and ancestral values, it seeks to disseminate their rights and empower the communities while responding to their most pressing needs.
