As the COVID-19 virus spreads to countries with low-resources, high levels of poverty and malnutrition, high levels of inequality, and discrimination against Indigenous Peoples, we know that this crisis will have a much deeper and more widespread impact.
We have to act now! Inequalities already exist in the information provided. Much of the information is available online, only for those with Internet access, the ability to read and write, and speak a majority language.
We will continue to produce radio material. We deliver our first informative block translated into 16 languages. You are welcome to download and share our radio programs freely with your entire audience. Do not forget that we continually receive information that is useful to our Indigenous Peoples, and we endeavor to distribute this in an effort to be of assistance.
